Improving the Amenities

Boston Manor Tennis Club

Brentford Festival

Some of our successes have included providing park benches, cycle racks, exercise equipment, an orchard, a community cafe an orienteering  course and in 2019 we introduced new signage to the nature trail to replace one that had been vandalised.

In 2004 the friends formed  BMTC with all funds re-invested back into the club.  This has included refurbishing the courts and installing lighting, new fencing and repainting the courts. We carry out  annual maintenance.

Since 2005 The Friends have run the refreshment bar at the Brentford Festival in addition to providing volunteers to make this very successful event happen.  The next festival date is in Blondin Park   Sunday 6th September 2020

The Friends of Boston Manor are a voluntary group who aim to improve the amenities within Boston Manor Park and was formed in 2003 by members of the local community who were concerned by the threat of reduced investment in Boston Manor Park, Brentford, Middlesex, TW8 9JX. In 2011 The Friends of Boston Manor became a Company Limited by Guarantee.  Funds raised are re-invested into the park and environs thus fulfilling its aims and objectives.

Working with its volunteers alongside the land managers employed by Hounslow Council, the park has gone from strength to strength and  has won 15 consecutive Green Flag Awards.

Whether it is the walled garden or outside the pavilion  it is great to hold an event outside in the fresh air.
